At EcoPaws, we believe dogs deserve more than just a quick walk around the block. We provide reliable, caring and eco-friendly dog walking and pet transport across Zürich, giving dogs the exercise, attention and fresh air they need — while giving owners complete peace of mind.
We use electric vehicles, carefully planned routes and small, well-managed groups to make sure every dog travels safely and comfortably. Whether it's a daily walk, a pick-up from home or a trip to their favourite green space, we treat every dog as if they were our own.

Meet Our Team
Katja
Lead Dog Walker
Katja is EcoPaws' lead dog walker and the main point of contact for all clients. Swiss-born and raised, she has grown up with dogs her whole life and has always felt most at home around them.
She is especially good with nervous, reactive and young dogs, using a calm and patient approach that helps dogs feel safe, understood and relaxed. Whether it's a shy puppy or a dog that needs a little extra reassurance, Katja creates a positive, friendly environment where every dog can be themselves.
At EcoPaws, Katja takes care of the day-to-day dog walking, pick-ups and drop-offs, as well as talking with owners and organising bookings. Her warm and professional way of working means both dogs and their humans always feel well looked after.
Darren
Operations & Logistics
Darren is one of the people behind EcoPaws. Originally from Scotland and living in Switzerland for over six years, he has spent most of his working life in roles that require reliability, organisation and looking after people — first in the UK military and later in logistics and operations.
He has shared his life with many different dogs over the years, including German Shepherds, Border Collies, Miniature Pinschers, Great Danes and now his pug. Living with such a wide range of breeds has given him a real understanding of how different dogs think, move and interact with the world around them.
At EcoPaws, Darren looks after the behind-the-scenes side of things — organising routes, schedules and transport — making sure everything runs smoothly so every dog gets where they need to be safely and on time.
Jimmy
Chief Happiness Officer, Snack Inspector & Vibe Diplomat
Our pug – Chief Happiness Officer, Snack Inspector, and diplomatic leader of good vibes.
His most important responsibility: He carefully makes sure that enough food is packed at all times. Quality control is a matter of honour. Treats are, of course, checked multiple times — you can never be too careful.
As the social centre of the team, Jimmy keeps an eye on everyone to make sure each dog feels comfortable. Whether it's playtime, a rest break, or a group sniff around, he's always paying attention. And if anyone forgets that breaks are important, he gently reminds them that life isn't just about running.
In short: Jimmy manages morale, guards the snacks, and keeps the team together — with charm, dignity, and the occasional little snore in between.
