Terms & Conditions

Effective from 1 March 2026

1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Eco Paws GP klg (UID: CHE-375.200.151), Gutstrasse 178, 8055 Zürich, Switzerland. By booking a service, the customer accepts these Terms & Conditions in full.

2. Services

Eco Paws offers the following services:

  • Dog Walks: 1.5-hour group walk in nature, accompanied by two handlers in small groups. Pick-up and drop-off by electric van included.
  • Toilet Break: Quick potty break for your dog.
  • Pet Check-In: 20-minute home visit for cats, bunnies and hamsters.

All new customers receive a free meet & greet and first walk at no charge, to make sure we are a great fit.

3. Service Hours

Dog walks follow the daily schedule below:

  • Walk 1: 08:00 - 08:45 pickup, 08:45 - 10:15 walk, 10:15 - 11:00 drop-off
  • Walk 2: 11:15 - 12:00 pickup, 12:00 - 13:30 walk, 13:30 - 14:15 drop-off
  • Pet Check-Ins: After 14:15

Exact pickup and drop-off times may vary slightly depending on the route and number of dogs. Eco Paws strives to adhere to the stated times as closely as possible.

4. Pricing & Payment

The following prices apply (all amounts in CHF, incl. VAT where applicable):

  • Single walk: CHF 30 incl. VAT (incl. pickup and drop-off)
  • Toilet break: CHF 10
  • Pet check-in (20 min): CHF 13

Weekend surcharge: A surcharge of 20% applies to Saturday and Sunday bookings.

Elderly & mobility discount: A discount of 20% is offered to elderly customers and those with mobility issues.

Payment is due before or upon delivery of the service, unless otherwise agreed. Eco Paws reserves the right to adjust prices with reasonable notice.

5. Booking & Cancellation

Bookings can be made via the online form on our website, by email, or by WhatsApp. A booking is considered confirmed once the customer has received written confirmation from Eco Paws.

Cancellation policy:

  • Cancellations made at least 14 days before the scheduled service date will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 14 days before the service date will be charged in full.
  • For weekly and monthly packages, the cancellation policy applies to each individual scheduled service.

Eco Paws reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a service due to extreme weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the customer will be notified promptly and will receive a full refund or a replacement appointment.

6. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about the animal's health, behaviour, vaccination status, and any special needs.
  • Ensure the dog's vaccinations are up to date.
  • Disclose any known aggression, reactivity, or behavioural issues in advance.
  • Ensure the dog is ready at the agreed pickup location and time.
  • Be responsible for any damage caused by their dog to third parties or property during the service, where the customer failed to disclose relevant behavioural issues.

7. Eco Paws Responsibilities

Eco Paws commits to:

  • Provide reasonable care and supervision for all animals during the service.
  • Ensure two handlers are present on every walk.
  • Maintain small group sizes for individual attention.
  • Provide safe transport in the electric van.
  • Maintain appropriate liability insurance coverage.
  • Notify the customer promptly if any health or safety concern arises during the service.

8. Liability

Eco Paws is liable for damage caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct of its handlers. Liability is limited to direct damages.

Eco Paws is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing medical conditions or health issues of the animal.
  • Injuries caused by the animal's behaviour where the customer failed to disclose known behavioural issues or aggression.
  • Damage due to force majeure, including extreme weather events or natural disasters.
  • Indirect damages, consequential damages, or loss of profit.

9. Data Protection

The collection and processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Data submitted through bookings is used exclusively for providing the booked service and for communication with the customer.

10. Amendments

Eco Paws reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time with reasonable notice. The current version is always available on our website at ecopaws.ch/agb.html. By continuing to use our services after an amendment, the customer accepts the updated Terms & Conditions.

11. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms & Conditions is Zürich, Switzerland.
